I am Sulagna Halder Banerji and I am a Hindustani Classical Singer with 20 years’ experience in teaching music. I have released many album CDs and also held various concerts across India and abroad.  I have received various awards in the field of Classical Singing.

The speciality of my performance is Systematic Raga developments with Alap, Tans, Swargam, Boltans and Laykari.  I am also Indian Idol mentor in Delhi. Lots of my students from India and abroad have been performing in many prestigious concerts.

I have received a strong foundation under the able tutelage and taalim from renowned Gurus over the years as listed below:

1) Pt. Samaresh Chawdhury (direct disciple of Pt. Ravi Shankar) last 17 years. He belongs to Rampur Senia Gharana.

2) Ustad Maskoor Ali Khan and Ustad Mubarak Ali Khan last 7 years. They belong to Kirana Gharana.

3) Smt. Prabhati Mukherjee last 9 years for Thumri, Bhajan, Ragpradhan etc.

4) Padmashree Vidushi Smt. Sumitra Guha last 5 years. She belongs to the Kirana Gharana..
