Chidambar Joshi is a dedicated Harmonium artist and instructor based in Hubli. Trained under the guidance of his father and holding a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music from Karnatak University, Chidambar blends traditional Hindustani classical foundations with structured pedagogical techniques. Over his career, he has mentored over 25 students, performed at collegiate youth festivals, and served as an accompanying artist in over 40 live and online sessions.

Course Structure & What You Will Learn

Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to advance your classical repertoire, classes are tailored for all age groups (children to adults) in both individual (1-on-1) and group formats.

• Beginner Module: Introduction to the instrument, correct seating posture, hand positions, and foundational fingering techniques.

• Basic Music Theory: Mastering Swaras (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni), ascending/descending patterns, and fundamental Taal (rhythmic cycles).

• Intermediate Module: Rhythmic timing, scale variations, and pattern play.

• Advanced Ragas & Improvisation: Solo performance techniques, fast-tempo fingering, and composition analysis across popular Ragas including Yaman, Charukeshi, Nata-Bhairav, and Kirwani.
