Vidushi Bhumika Dhananjaya is a dedicated Bharathanatyam artist with 20 years of rich experience in the field of
classical dance. She began her dance journey at the young age of 4 and has since pursued Bharathanatyam with
deep passion, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the classical art form.

Course Syllabus & Details
The Primary Level Bharathanatyam course is specifically engineered to provide students with a structurally sound
foundation in the traditional Kalakshetra style of Bharathanatyam. This program focuses heavily on cultivating
discipline, rhythm, precise posture, expression, physical coordination, and a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of Indian classical dance.

Training 
She is a distinguished disciple of Guru Vidwan Shridhar Jain and Dr. Kripa Padke, under whose expert guidance she
has been trained in the esteemed Kalakshetra style of Bharathanatyam. She has successfully completed her Junior
Grade, Senior Grade, and Vidwath Grade examinations, earning official certifications from the Karnataka Board and
Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University.
Complementing her dance expertise, she is also trained in Carnatic music under Vidushi Shalini, which further
enriches her artistic expression, rhythmic command, and deep understanding of classical performance traditions.

Notable Performances & Repertory
● International Platform: Participated in the prestigious International Cultural Festival in Bangkok, Thailand.
● Mysore Palace Festivals: Performed five times in the annual cultural festivals held at the renowned Mysore
Palace during both Dasara and Maagi Utsava celebrations.
● Mysore Dasara Events: Featured three times in the Yuva Dasara programs and performed twice in the
prestigious Torch Light Parade. She has additionally performed at the Exhibition Grounds and Aahara Mela as
part of the broader Dasara Cultural Festival celebrations.
● Festivals & Cultural Forums: Performed at the Jina Bajana Festivals held across Mysore, Hubli, Kalasa, and
Tumkur. She is also a regular performer at the famous Suttur Jathra Mahotsava.
● Prominent Venues: Presented numerous performances at esteemed cultural landmarks including Jaganmohan
Palace, Kalamandir, Ganabharathi, the Open Air Theatre in Mysore, and twice at the SP Office in Mysore.
